In my region, magnetic field strength should be about 54uT. However, after converting the data (from two's complement) to a signed value, multiplying by the 0.3 scaling factor, and performing my Hard Iron Offset, I get a magnitude of around 27uT. I've noticed this on all my sensors, so I just put in an additional scaling factor of 2. The absolute value doesn't matter much anyways, but I'm curious if others have noticed this?
