Defective MPU-6050

I am afraid, but I ordered few of these chips and all of these were defective.
I can communicate with all sensors over I2C without any issues, but raw data of all axes are only zeros.
In one case, sensor giving rather random values.

All were ordered in Farnell and I am sure soldering method and PCB are OK. We tried what we can, but only swapping MPU-6050 to piece from older series solved our problem.

We sended all defective sensors back to Farnell and obtained new series of this sensor. But all chips were again defective.

What do you think about this issue, could it be destructed by some RTG scan during a trip from UK?
