If it's in the software layer, then there's no way to differentiate between the two, because the software can be implemented on the other part number as well.

What specific hardware feature does this library utilize that "42688v" possesses but "42688p" lacks? I think if this feature isn't hardware-based, and if "fusion" occurs outside of the hardware, then the end-user could potentially leverage this feature by modifying their program's code. Could you please elaborate further on this?
