The equipment is used in ships. There is a motor at the bottom of the equipment to drive the propeller to work, so it has a certain vibration. The number of equipment trial runs is about 500. After the equipment has been running for a period of time, two abnormalities occur. 1. About 10 devices are abnormal. The inspection found that the ICM-42688 communication is normal, the acceleration value is normal, and the data of some gyro axes are abnormal. Some are X-axis, some are Y-axis and Z-axis. The data are all the original register values of the sensor read in a static state. The values of these axes in a static state are as high as 524256, and they cannot be restored after power failure.
2. About 5 units found the second abnormal phenomenon. After the equipment worked for about 30 minutes (the time is uncertain), the values of some axes fluctuated greatly. The value changes of about 1000 per second when it started working in the same environment, and the value fluctuations of about 5000 per second after working for about half an hour, all of which are read original data.
May I ask if similar situations have occurred in previous applications? What may be the cause of this situation? How should this problem be improved?
