I have been reading some Application notes and there is something I am not sure about after reading through. I would like to confirm the use of the Atmel MCU on the ARM board. Since this board is a 'bridge' between the Evaluation board and a PC, could it be that this MCU only serves to relay data to and fro the EVB via the I2C-to-USB conversion. I would like to think that all the data processing is done in the DMP and eventually in the User Application on a PC.
