I am currently attempting to use the wireless MotionFit SDK for a school project and I need some guidance in getting started. My background is in engineering physics, and I confess I do not have much experience working with devices such as this. I have followed the start-up guide to get the Teapot application running, and I am currently trying to figure out the next step.
What I need from the device is the ability to feed data on positioning from the gyroscopes and accelerometers separately (if this is possible). Ideally, this data should be able to be fed into a MATLAB or LabView program in real time (basically into any program that can do a real-time analysis).
I was wondering how you get the gyroscope to output this data to a readable source, and what programs I would need to do this.
