IAM-20680HP -vs- ICM-42670-P sensitivity

By johnnhwswdesigncom , 29 January 2026

I am currently using an ICM-42670-P and am looking to upgrade to a better part. I'm thinking the IAM-20680HP/IAM-20680HT are better parts, but I have trouble comparing their their gyro and accelerometer sensitivities.

The ICM-42670-P datasheet gives values for "Sensitivity Scale Factor Initial Tolerance" and "Sensitivity Change vs. Temperature".

The IAM-20680HP/IAM-20680HT datasheets don't give these values. They advertise "Factory-calibrated initial sensitivity of both sensors reduces production-line calibration requirements." And then only for the gyro it says "Factory calibrated sensitivity scale factor".

So I'm not clear if there is a sensitivity error and how it changes with temperature.

I am not an expert on IMUs.
