ICM20689 Wake on Motion WOM

By alinmeggitt , 13 November 2017

Hi. I'm using the ICM20689 and I'm trying to go into a low power savings mode by using the Wake on Motion interrupt on the interrupt pin. I've followed the Wake on Motion steps presented in the datasheet. My problem is that right after I enable the interrupt, the pin goes high (active), although there is no motion. I read the interrupt status register, and the value is 0xE1 (Wake on Motion interrupt + data ready). When I read the interrupt status register, the pin goes low (cleared) and then after about 50-100usec, it goes back high. I've tried different values for the threshhold value, no change.

Any ideas of what is going on?

Regards,
Alin
