IMU EVB 3000 connections

Hi I am having trouble with the I2C interface on the IMU 3000 EVB.


I have connected from the HEADER JP8 to my microcontroller as follows.

I have also tried disabling the pull up resistors built into the arduino.
PIN 20 SCL my SCL with pullup resistor
PIN 22 SDA MY SDA with pull up resistor
PIN 8 Vlogic Input > 5.5v
PIN 15 and PIN 17 to GND


JP1 on 2-3
JP3 on 2-3

I am trying to connect this board to an arduino UNO.

I have ran a scanner program to search for the address of any devices connected via the I2C interface, and it returns 0.

Is it possible to connect this EVB to another microcontroller other than the ARM-7 controller or am I doing something wrong, maybe my unit is faulty?

Please help.
