IMU3000 Help Required

Hello

I am using IMU 3000 using my own code. It has an ADC word length of 16 bits. i.e. Gyro_XOUT_H and GYRO_XOUT_L makes 16 bits.

Can you tell me how many are the sign bits, what is their location. I mean is it bit 16 only, or are there more than 1 sign bit.

I am asking this because the accelerometer i am using has four left most significant bits as sign bits.
