I am having an issue I am facing currently with ICM 20649. I wrote drivers for ICM 20649, I have set the ICM 20649 into a centrifuge for testing gyroscope outputs. However during the testing I faced a problem: when the gyroscope reaches the max output (deg/s) the output values switch to the opposite sign after a few seconds. For example if the max value was +-2000 deg per sec set in the code ,when I set the centrifuge to rotate over 2000 deg per sec, the output value would reach 2000 deg per sec, but then switch to -2000 after a few seconds. I also found out that other users of ICM sensor series faced the same issues with their gyroscope outputs. I would like to know what is the underlying problem behind the gyroscope and what is the best way to solve the issue?
