The IXZ-2020 product specification lists the Full-Scale Range as +/-31.25 deg/sec for a FS_SEL=0. This equates to a Sensitivity Scale Factor of 2^16/(2*31.25) = 1048 LSB/(deg/sec).
The next line in the product specification lists the Sensitivity Scale Factor as 262 LSB/(deg/sec). This is 4 times worse than the Sensitivity above and implies an actual full scale range of 125 deg/sec at FS_SEL=0.
So which full scale range is correct? I've placed the gyro on a turntable going at a known angular rate and the readings suggest that the latter case is correct and the Full-Scale Range is actually 4 times greater than what is listed in the specification and all of my readings for rate, bias, and noise are off by a factor of 4.
Can I trust anything in the specification?
