Just to begin

Hello everybody..
I need to start the usage of the 9150. I would like to use the DMP library, for an ARM. My first question is, is the library supplied only in compiled format or the sources exists somewhere?
I have not found a documentation of the API of this library, does it exists somewhere?
Reading some examples I found references to registers which they do not exist in the datasheets, is there an extended documentation to find everything??
