low pass filter in MPU6050

I want different low pass frequency for gyro and accelerometer, higher frequency for gyro, so I can get gyro data in lower lantency and acc data with less noise. But they share the same register. Is there any possible can I achieve this? Possible by using the DMP?
Digital filter in external MCU is not an option,because both the I2C bus and MCU is not fast enough.
