MotionFit SDK Bluetooth Delay

I recently started using the MotionFit SDK with the Android app provided over a Bluetooth connection. I am also interested in the timestamp when a reading is recorded. To my surprise, when I set the sampling rate at 100 Hz, the times that I receive the packet at are not spaced out by 10 ms. I am wondering if the SDK is transmitting multiple packets at the same time over bluetooth for power consumption. If yes, is there a way to get packets faster, that is on an as recorded basis?
