In an earlier post I was trying to understand the capabilities of the DMP, particularly around setting a float-based mounting matrix. Reading through the source code and the seemingly non-existent, non-sensical documentation wasn't getting me anywhere, so as a last attempt to make use of the ICM-20948 I bought the DK-20948 evaluation kit.
I'm able to use the sensor-cli.exe command line tool for viewing and logging data out of the DK-20948. However, the MotionLink GUI application crashes immediately when trying to connect to the board. I've read through the (again) very disappointing documentation on the matter, and have changed the COM port numbers etc. as advised in the Troubleshooting guide. Resetting the MCU and re-flashing the MCU from with MotionLink works as expected, but clicking the 'Connect' button (with the correct COM port selected) causes the whole application to crash (Windows 10 64-bit).
Has anyone experienced similar? Or can anyone point me to an earlier version of MotionLink?
From using the sensor-cli.exe tool, it seems that the ICM-20948 may well be suited to my particular use case, but the documentation, support, etc. of the Invensense platform as a whole is really quite offputting.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
