MPU-60X0: Reading the FIFO_RW register in burst ? (SOLVED)

Dear forum members,
I'm currently doing my 1st steps with this sensor.

I'm wondering if its is possible to read the single RW register of the FIFO (by I2C) in burst mode?
...or is the register address increasing automatically?

2nd question:
If the FIFO overflows (and "oldest data is erased") can I be sure, that the next byte I read, is the 1st byte from my configured data set?
(e.g. the 1st byte I read after overflow is always X-axis-Accel.?)
