MPU-6500- a few connection questions (exposed pad, aux I2C)

Hello. I couldn't find information in the data sheet on the following questions-

1) I don't want to use the auxillary I2C lines/pins (AUX_DA and AUX_CL). So do I leave them unconnected, or should they be grounded?

2) What do I connect the exposed pad to? The only time the datasheet even mentions it is at the end where it has a drawing and dimensions of the package, but that of course does not mention what you should connect the exposed pad to.

Additionally, the datasheet does not include a recommended PCB footprint drawing, so I had to just create one based off of package drawing. Is there a resource somewhere that has recommended PCB footprints?
