Hello,
I am considering using the MPU60X0 series for use in my next interial navigation product. I have seen that you currently only support 6 axis sensor fusion in the this chip, which outputs a quaternion.
When is the estimated time for using the input from an external compass and doing 9 axis sensor fusion in the MPU60X0 and outputting a fully referenced quaternion?
Is it any time soon, or am I best developing taking the compass data I currently have an integrating it with the output from the MPU60X0 myself?
I would like to know this before I purchase the MPU60X0 development board, as if I have to write the code for the compass integration myself, I would rather buy the accelerometer and gyro seperately saving bringing down unit costs.
