MSP430F249 [60KB Flash, 256Byte RAM] possible to port?

Hello support team,

Greetings!

Is is feasible to port sample code to MSP430F249 uC?
It has 60KB Flash and 256 Byte RAM.
I am trying to porting existing MSP430F5528 sample code.

Also, which one should have less code size from below two define option
MOTION_DRIVER_TARGET_MSP430
OR EMPL_TARGET_MSP430

If any sample code available for transition from USB to UART then that will be much appreciated as well.
