Newby to CCS and MPU9150 SDK

Hi, I'm new to CCS and msp430; used to work with Arduino and Freescale.

I use windows 7, the CCS is running the project eMPL-5.1. The file is simple_appsmsp430mllite_test.c.

As I follow the TI document "CCStudio_v5_QSG_9-11.pdf", since the Ink_msp430f5528.cmd and MSP430F5528.ccxml files are all available, I simply went ahead to debug.

The SDK board was connected to the USB port of the laptop, switched on so the LEDs are lit. From device manager I installed the eMPL driver and it was shown to be COM6. In the devices & printers of control panel, I also see the "Embedded MotionApps (CDC)(COM6)". So the SDK board should be connected through USB to the PC.

Then I ran the debug of CCS. An error message came out: Error initializing emulator: No USB FET was found. tried few times and always with this error message.

Where did I do wrong? It's embarrassing to be stuck in the beginning. But as I watched TI's video, I couldn't see any thing obvious.

Appreciate any advice on this rudimentary error.
