Noise being generated in ITG3200 during temperature swings

Hi, I've got a project that uses the ITG3200 and am trying to do temperature compensation, but during the temperature ramp-up, the raw gyro readings are becoming very noisy.

This is throwing off my compensation and concerning me about the reliability of this part. Can somebody explain what causes this? I used hot-air-rework on the part, but i don't think it's been cooked. I've checked for cold solder joints and have not seen any on the ITG3200 itself (I reworked it). That said, this effect is much less pronounced on another board.

I contacted technical support a couple times and have not received any response. At all. I would really like to be able to get some feedback here!
