PC Installation Issues

Received new MPU-9150 EVB and having issues with both PC applications (UDL and PC Demo) after both XP and Win7 installs.

Win 7/32bit:
1)InvenSense Universal Data Logger v1.0 reports:
"Cannot connect to the sensor. Please make sure the sensor is connected."
Verified sensor is connected to USB using COM4 with InvenSense Virtual COM Port . (Also checked "debug dll", msvcr100d.dll is in System32 folder.)
2) PC Demo UI Lite 4.3.1 reports:
"Error = INV_ERROR_SERIAL_WRITE, Error Code =55"
This error followed after dowloading another missing debug dll, msvcp100d.dll in windows/system32.
XP:
1) UDL works fine
2) PC Demo reports:
"Error = INV_ERROR_INVALID_MODULE, Error Code =19"
PC Demo installation on both Win7 and XP were somewhat irregular in that I had to dig into res/bin to find the executable.

Need both installs to work first before trying new MotionFit SDK. Help would be appreciated.
