SmartMotion® MEMS Motion Sensors

We are using DK-ICM42670-P Evaluation board for 6 DoF data. Able to read Accelerometer, Gyroscope raw data using SmartMotion application. Now we need to change the IMU orientation to take another set of data. Is there any solution to change the Axes Remapping matrix? Could you please help me changing the Axes Remap of ICM42670P?

We want to collect ADS1299 and ICM-42688-P data at the same time, ADS1299 Has Start Pin, when we make this pin High sampling will be started. Can we connect same Start pin to ICM-42688-P FSYNC pin and synchronize between the sensor ?.

We have gone through ICM-42607x ICM-42670x FSYNC User Guide , here it says FSYNC should be pulse of 100ns. Is this applicable for ICM-42688-P this IC also ?

Please let us know is it possible get Start and stop functionality from FSYNC pin.

I'm using ICM-20602.
It's supplied inside a product called EPIQ's Z3U.
From Epiq, I got an API to for reading X,Y,Z acceleration.

For Z acceleration I got the values : 16636, 16340, 16420, ... (for example)
The real Z acceleration is g which is ~9.8m/sec^2

How should I translate the value I read to m/sec^2 ?

thank you again for this service!

We wanted to double check that the Gyroscope values provided by the ICM-20948 are indeed raw values as computed by a dedicated sensor and are not values derived from some other signal.

In other words, are the Gyroscope values computed by taking the derivative of the orientation values?

Hi,

I Received a presentation document from TDK (screenshots attached). It states that ICM-45605-S will have embedded sensor fusion Software.
Some distrubutors have already created a component page for the part but they don't know when it will be available.

At the moment were using ICM-20948 for the 6 axis sensor fusion but as we go into production we would like to use a new IMU that has embedded sensor fusion.

Do you know when ICM-45605-S will be available?

I will be attempting to have multiple sensors in a 4 wire SPI bus, using GPIOs connected to different sensors CS pins.

In page 52 of datasheet revision 1.2 it states that:

"The CS lines of the non-selected slave devices are held high, causing their SDO lines
to remain in a high-impedance (high-z) state so that they do not interfere with any active devices."

How about the SDI lines? do the SDI lines go to high-z state?

I have a TDK IMU ICM-40608 and would like to configure the accelerometer over I²C in C (from scratch) therefore would need to know what is required for accelerometer configuration. I am looking for any kind of reference manuals and coding examples on how the IMU can be programmed and configured for accelerometer use. I want to detect/observe changes on the angle to the G force on each axis. I'd appreciate your assistance in this matter.

I am using the WhoAmI register of the ICM42688P for bidirectional communication, but no matter which program I try, the value returned is 0x0, not 0x47.

Is there some other setting?
