I have published a question at Stack Exchange, Digital Processing [1].

The text is fully copy pasted here:

If this is not the right StackExchange group, please advice.

I seem to have the same problem as 1 (2019, on the miniDSP forum, unanswered) with the NotWired NW-AUD-ICS52000 boards. I have had no other boards with which to test the TDK InvenSense ICS-52000 mics.

The NotWired NW-AUD-ICS52000 board is at 3, and the TDK InvenSense ICS-52000 chip is at 4.

Hi all,

I am trying to accomplish sample audio from a 43434 microphone using a PIC24 MCU and it's somewhat working but I get lots of noise. The PIC MCU (running at 129.042MHz) is providing the microphone with an 1.024MHz signal on SCK and 16kHz on WS. For testing, I am only using the left channel.

Hello,
Greeting!!
We are using ICS- 40638 microphone in our patient monitor project. We are using microphone as an audio feedback to check whether the 2 loudspeakers working properly or not. The output signal from the microphone is pre-amplified and then fed to the peak detector circuit. When the monitor is open (without casing) then we have observe the output as shown in the attachment (Monitor_without_Casing) and when we closed our monitor in a case then the amplitude of the microphone signal decreases as shown in the attachment (Monitor_with_Casing)

Hello,
I'm using an ICS-43434 in a loud ambient (music concert hall near instruments). Often the microphone is in saturation and the signal is dirty. I would need to record louder sounds, while I don't care to record soft sounds. I don't need to increase the dynamic range, just to be able to record louder sounds better. What can I do? can i use something to plug the microphone hole?

Hello.

I have a technical question about soldering this microphone to PCB. After the soldering, is there an acoustic path (leakage) between PCB and microphone sound port? (solder paste height).
We are suffering from acoustic noises that leak in this gap.
Would appreciate your urgent help with this issue.

Thanks.
Best regards,
Igor Kagan

According to the data sheet the result is I2S, signed 24-bit (+/-23 bit). Please look at the attached screenshot.
- The first bit is idle as per the data sheet, marked in green. OK.
- The 2nd bit is the sign-bit (MSB), marked in orange. OK.
- Bits 3..25 are supposed to be the 23 data bits following the sign-bit, but there is never a "1" at the position 25. I put the oscilloscope in persistent mode and let it run.

Hello,

When working with the ics43432 microphone and embedded devices running Linux Embedded (Yocto) solutions, are there any available drivers for the Linux platform for this microphone that would provide the volume (boost) recording controls?
Or are the only available options to rely on Alsa plugins for softvol and software emulated volume controls?

SETUP:
In one of our R&D application we are using two core per product.
One as primary-coil and other as secondary coil. Primary core has 40turns and secondary has 400 turns center-tapped as 200Turns.

Primary core is excited at 2V-Vpp at freq range of 6KHz-10KHz. These core arrangements has a loop of resistors going through each core. The voltage developed at secondary winding is inversly proportional to the value to resistors in the loop. We are monitoring the voltage developed at the secondary windindgs
