Dear Sirs,
given the Invensense policy of refusing to make available a proper datasheet for the mpu-6050 which would allow us developers to develop our own code to harness the features of the chip, I was wondering if Invensense would be willing to provide a detailed start guide/tutorial to enable those of us who bought the evb to get up and running with the evaluation asap, using the source code you have made available.
The start up guide/tutorial should enable us to quickly build a project for our favorite micro, eg. a PIC, to test say the MLGetRawDataFixed () and MLGetEulerAnglesFixed () and include the following:
1) A minimalist list of header and C (and their contents) files to include in project eg. ml.c, etc
2) A sample "main.c" showing the compiler flag definitions and the required instructions before invoking MLGetRawDataFixed () and MLGetEulerAnglesFixed ()
3) The complete code in the platform and slave platform structures for the mpu-6050 including the magnetometer.
Section 3.10 states "An explanation of orientation matrix is provided in Section 2.10." However I could not find section 2.10 in the documentation.
It also states: "See the IMU-3000 or MPU-6050 register description for a orientation"
Where can we find the MPU-6050 register description?
4) Any other essential item/code required
A tutorial of this nature I beleieve would be very helpful and save a lot of our valuable time.
I am sure the Invensense Development engineers could put together such a tutorial in no time and am also sure that a few of us would greatly appreciate it.
