Using Advanced Sensor Fusion Library ICM-42688-V with generic micro controller

By mariusmssjgmailcom , 14 August 2024

Hi everyone,

I'm very much new to this and would really appreciate some help.
I got a custom PCB with TDK ICM-42688-V on it paired with SMT32L552CCUX micro controller for processing and output control via USB as a HID device. I am able to get the motion data working using ST motion sense library with STM32CubeIDE but would like to use Advanced Sensor Fusion Library instead as I feel it would provide better data.

Looking through the examples provided in the Advanced Sensor Fusion Library download, the code provided feels hardcoded for the dev test board and Microchip microprocessor. I tried to move just the core library files with the binaries over to my project, but I can't seem to get it work since a lot of the code links back to the evaluation board it seems.
Is there a more generic version of the library that I could use instead? or another way to make it work with SMT32L552CCUX micro controller?
Thank you.

Hello,

That is the only library we have available, however there might be community developers who created their own version based on our library.
