MPU60X0 Documentation?

By deepak_kumar_mishra , 24 May 2011

I have an MPU6000-EVB with INVARM-EVB. Where can I find more detailed documentation on the I2C interface and MPU60X0 registers? Where is the format of the data stream coming from the serial output of the ARM7/USB virtual serial port documented? I am not able to evaluated the MPU properly since the V2.9 demo does not run on Windows 7/64 or Linux, so I will be writing my own demo app...

Regards,

Benjamin

For all system developers using MPU-6050, we recommend using Embedded MotionApps, since we cannot give out the register map (spec).

Hi BenG,

We are experiencing the same issue here not having the documentation for the Invarm-EVB dev board but only what Invensense has made available on their downloads section (specifically the Atmel UC3 Xplained).

Have you got new doc from them about how to use the Invarm-evb board?

I'd like any information on this topic sent to me as well. I have the Uc3 + Inertial 2 working (sans magnetometer) but would really like to make some headway with the mpu-60x0 + evarm

Up to two days ago Farnell UK were selling the mpu6050 stand alone. Apparently now they are out of stock.

I take it these are the production versions of the IC.

Does this mean that you will be releasing a proper datasheet in the near future?

The documentation for ARM board supported by InvenSense is available as https://invensense.tdk.com/mems/gyro/documents/EV_INVARM.pdf .

We dont have any finalized plans for releasing the register spec. We are recommending customers to use e-MotionApps software.

Thanks.
