Embedded MotionApps 2.0 can be used with the Atmel board but can be ported to other MCUs as source code is provided. Embedded MotionsApps Lite 4.1 is tied to the MotionFit SDK and MSP430 and is in library form so it cannot be ported to other platforms.
Embedded MotionApps 2.0 is 50-60kb, 4.1 is larger. The MotionFit SDK has a 256Mbit serial flash. Refer to Atmel for their specifications.
