I am trying to port MPU-6050 code from the AVR to a MSP430. Can anyone help me navigate the maze of directories and files in the so-called SDK to what they describe in the User Guide as:
Embedded MotionApps Platform + API
MLDL
Ustore Manager
These are supposed to be the platform independent portions of e-MAP. I have never used an AVR and trying to reverse engineer their compile structure is taking a lot longer than I expected.
Is there any expected date on a real SDK that is platform independent? It is certainly a stretch to call an example use-case for a specific controller a software development kit. Nice idea on this product but the software side is a nightmare.

Re: Re: MotionApps AVR question
We are targeting a new SW release that will be platform independent. This should be released by September.
Re: Re: MotionApps AVR question
Any news on the release date for the platform independent SW release? Will this release include magnetometer fusion within the DMP?
Re: Re: MotionApps AVR question
We are nearing a release date this month. This particular release will not include 9-axis sensor fusion.
Re: Re: MotionApps AVR question
Is there a release planned (in the coming months) that will include 9-axis sensor fusion?
Re: Re: MotionApps AVR question
We do have one 9 DOF software release available in the MotionFit SDK, a second rev of this SW is in the works.
Aside from that there are no other plans as of now to release a platform independent 9 DOF software package. As part of the upcoming 6 DOF platform independent release there will be compass integration and calibration instructions.
Re: Re: MotionApps AVR question
Hi sectionsbest,
is there a scheduled release date for the "6 DOF platform independent release"? In some post you mention the week starting Sep. 24 (which is this week) - is this still on schedule?
Thank you for any update (even a delay news would help in our planing!).

Re: Re: MotionApps AVR question
Hi and sorry for the delay. We plan to release this package sometime next week.
