Has anyone overcome this error? When trying to use the Connect button, I get "FW open error" with no further explanation that I can find.

Also, I can successfully run "Flash MCU Firmware" from within SonicLink but I think that uses EDGB Port instead of USB/COM port. Please let me know how to overcome "FW open error" so I can use SonicLink. Thanks!

Hi, thanks for your message. I did not figure it out and I'm disappointed I never got a reply from anyone at the company. Bummer.
I will say that at the time I was running windows on a virtual machine (MacOS BootCamp) and that was observed to cause some other problems. I have not gone back to try again on a windows machine.
Let's keep in touch in case either of us finds a solution.
