Hello,
I read about the ultrasonic capabilities of the ICS-41352 and would like to ask the following questions regarding this chip:
1) In the datasheet of ICS-41352, it is written: "The microphone’s ultrasonic performance will depend on the clock frequency, the low pass decimation filter, the strength of the ultrasonic signal being sensed, and the design of the acoustic port that is coupled to the microphone."
Are there any evaluation boards capable of handling ultrasonic spectrum of the ICS-41352? Is there any acoustic port design document that would suggest the best solution?
2) Is the radiation pattern of the ICS-41352 available? Or does it depend on the mentioned acoustic port? If so, is there any data measured with the reference designs?
Thank you,
Piotr
Hi,
I am also looking to use the ICS-41352 for ultrasonic applications. In addition to the above question, I had one more query:
Can we clock the microphone more than 4.8 MHz?
All audio codecs and DSPs typically have a decimation ratio of 64 or 32. So to achieve a high sampling rate, we would need clock it at more than 4.8MHz. Is this possible?
Please let me know.
Thank you,
Chethan
