Dear TDK Community,
I am working on an application developement with the SmartBug. Therefore I am looking for a workaround to get the sensor raw data without using the windows app to use it online with MATLAB. Are there any experiences or recomendations? Any hints would be very much appreciated.
Kind regards
Chris
Is there e.g. any decryption of the BLE characteristics to use those for data transfer?
I am also looking for information about this. I want to use SmartBug with a Bluetooth-compatible board such as an Arduino/Raspberry PI.
Is there any way to connect them and get sensor data from the SmartBug?
I have a similar query. I want to collect data using my own program and hence I can do some further processing. Anyone can help?
I would appreciate an answer to the above questions as well.
In addition, I am having trouble using the add-on board for the SD card; it seems that the SD card is not detected by the smartbug module. I am also unable to open the disk via USB connection due to an I/O error. Anyone have experience with this?
Update: I was able to solve the SD card issue (I hadn't inserted it fully... which was counter-intuitive because the SD card locks when it is inserted midway)
Hello,
do you provide the code source of the firmware which is running on the SmartBByg?
Thanks
Ghani
Is there no SDK or data interface documentation available for SmartBug?
If I had seen this forum before I got the SmartBug, I would not have considered buying it. For 2 years everyone has been asking the same question no one has answered such a simple question. If there is an SDK/documentation on the direct interface, please point us to it. Otherwise, just say that there is none.

Hi,
Unfortunately, there is no SDK for SmartBug.
Is there any code or documentation to talk with the SmartBug other than the compiled app?
If you can provide some documentation or source code I will post code that talks to it.
Hi,
Only official way to communicate with SmartBug is through the application. There is no source code available for it.
