what is the difference between and ICM‑42688‑P and ICM‑42688‑V?
does the fusion firmware compatible for them?
Thanks
DK-42688-V comes with AK-09915 daughter board which is compatible with Advanced Sensor Fusion Library

thank you very much.
may I say that DK-42688-P with AK-09915 does NOT compatible with Advanced Sensor Fusion Library?
if I am planing to use Advanced Sensor Fusion Library, I have to order DK‑42688‑V, not DK‑42688‑P, is that right?

Hello, I am not entitled to give any answer, but having the same doubt I double checked the resources available on TDK site. My understanding is that the devices are identical from any point of view (protocol, performances, ratings), but the ASF is licensed for use only with the -V version. For the -P version the eMD (enhanced Motion Detection) library is available and licensed, which - compared to the ASF library - basically offers reduced precision and lacks pitch, yaw and roll calculation. The -V version (or, better, the ASF licensed for the -V version) is more oriented to VR and AR applications.
Can someone either confirm or correct the above?
Thanks

thank you very much svoulazgmailcom,
TDK should make it more easy understandable documents, I had checked both sensors, they look like the same.

Hi,
In order to use Advanced Sensor Fusion Library you need DK-42688-V that comes with AK-09915. They are very similar sensors.

Thank you MOD_Mustafa,
okay, if I understand correctly that
ASF for DK-42688V
AGM for DK-42688P
DK-42688-V comes with AK-09915 daughter board which is compatible with Advanced Sensor Fusion Library
