Hey everyone, I've been using ICM-42688 in different projects for some time but recently I faced an issue where I'm getting the max values continuously.
I can't find the cause of this. We do put some pressure on the sensor at times but it happens even when there's no pressure on the sensor. What could be the issue? Is it related to power supply to sensor?

Let's clarify the issue a bit, ICM-42688 was working fine with other projects before you applied pressure on the sensor, right? After the applied pressure sensor started giving you continuous values? Also, what kind of pressure are you talking about here?
Yes! it worked fine before. We're placing the sensor on a pipe and keeping it pushed towards the pipe. That's a constant pressure being applied on sensor being taped to the pipe.
I assume this max value started after this application, and it still reads max values when there is no pressure. Did you make sure connections to the sensor is not affected?
Well the connections are perfectly fine, but if one of them is affected, just in case, would it cause the max values issue?
If the connections affected, it would affect the data output
