Hi team,
I have collected a spatial audio head tracking log in smartbug2.0,also I have applied set reference horizontal and mirror during this log. I have seen position, Raw angles, offset values in smartbug2.0 UI. My observation is that offset value not reflected in log. Also that data seems like normal fusion. Could you please clarify difference between sensor fusion log and the spatial audio head tracking log?.

Hello,
Spatial audio head tracking is based on the sensor fusion. Spatial audio head tracking algorithm performs gyro calibration more often.
Thank you for your reply. However, I didn't quite understand your point. Is the only difference between Fusion and spatial audio head tracking the gyro calibration? what is the use of offset values in Spatial audio head tracking (smartbug2.0 UI)? Could you please explain clearly?
Hi,
Pitch and roll can be corrected by accel, yaw cannot be corrected by accel. You will see this drift, hence we need to calibrate the gyro offset.
Thank you so much for your immediate response. For example, the offset yaw is 50 degrees, the offset pitch is 20 degrees, and the offset roll is 10 degrees. How will these values reflect in the spatial audio head tracking log values? Should I do any manual processing once the log is collected? Could you please explain with some examples?
You don't need manual processing if you are logging from the spatial audio head tracking
