We are using DK-40609-D SmartMotion eMD version 2.0.0 dated 2023-05-11. We see compilation error and prebuilt binaries are not working. Looking forward to support to make sure the eMD package is compiled in Atmel Studio and Algo visualiser works fine.
We also see the PCB is different from User Guide of DK-40609-D. We dont see ICM-40609-D in the User Guide list of supported device. Kindly clarify if this device is supported by the SmartMotion eMD package?

Yes we are referring to eMD_Streamlined_Software_Guide_ICM40609D.pdf under the doc file in the eMD package. Please find the picture of our setup, Atmel Studio version and compilation errors for your reference.
I have attached the picture of our setup above. But it is a compilation issue which doesnt depend on the hardware setup. We are able to compile Getting Started example projects from Atmel Studio for SAMG55 MCU and download to the target successfuly. Kindly review the package source files and update if it needs a fix.

The issue is in the long folder names which wont work well in Windows. We finally found that renaming the folder names to short name fixed the issue. We replaced "invn.firmware.emd-mcu.dk40609d_examples-atmel.arm-gnu-toolchain-cm4-fpu-2.0.0" folder to a shorter name example "invn"

Yes, length of folder name can cause the issue if the file is buried in bunch of folders. Let us know if you have any questions!
