ICM-20602: read Z acceleration

By veredz72gmailcom , 26 October 2024

Hello,

I'm using ICM-20602.
It's supplied inside a product called EPIQ's Z3U.
From Epiq, I got an API to for reading X,Y,Z acceleration.

For Z acceleration I got the values : 16636, 16340, 16420, ... (for example)
The real Z acceleration is g which is ~9.8m/sec^2

How should I translate the value I read to m/sec^2 ?

Thank you,
Zvika

Hello,

According to page 5 in the attached PDF, the units are LSB/g.
Typ. value is 16384.

How should I get the value in m/sec^2 ?

Thank you,
Zvika

Hi,

In this case, 1g = 16384 LSB. Then you can do the conversion to m/s²
