SmartSonic™ MEMS Ultrasonic ToF Sensors

I am brand new with this device. I've walked through the Quick Start steps up to the point where I click on Configure Sensors. When I've set the parameters I want I click on DONE, but no sensor ever appears, and I see nothing in the console that indicates that anything happened at all. I've tried it multiple times with different settings, but no response whatsoever. I show connected, and the console reports FW opened. What am I missing here?

does anybody have a datasheet where the register addresses for CH101 and CH201 are listed? I'm trying to communicate directly via I2C as I cannot find a working example with Arduino.

Any help is very appreciated!

I installed the SmartSonic Platform 1.11.1
When running SonicLink.exe and clicking the Connect button, I get a message: FW open error
I flashed the firmware using the File->Flash Firmware command, There was no error doing so.
But the FW open error stays.
I have the DK-CH101 board
What can I do?

Hello, I am trying to connect the CH-101 Dev kit with the Smartsonic software - the connect button is greyed out..and I can not flash the unit... seems like no connection... using the Programming Port.

1) When I connect the Progamming port to the computer - no lights turn on the board (Should there be some indication on power on?)

2) When I connect the USB port to the computer - I have flashing lights on the board...

Is it possible to measure water level in a glass bottle using the CH101 sensor positioned at the bottom of the bottle? For example, can the signal from the sensor penetrate 100-200 mm of water, bounce from the water-air boundary and hit the sensor at the bottom of the bottle so that the level of water can be measured? Please see a simple diagram in the attachment for details. Thanks.

We are a medical company developing a low power smartcane device. Our requirement is to interface CH201 with Dialog BLE module (DA14531). The driver files are integrated, could you share us arduino BSP for Ch201 if available. I need following clarification,

1. Is CH201 is programmed when shipped or for the initial power on we must program?
2. Could you share me a algorithm to program ch201, bcoz we made custom board with CH201 sensor module. (Note :The Hellochirp example is tailored made for SAM micro-controller, which is not readily available in our facility)

I have troubles running the HELLO CHRIP application. I downloaded the code from the TDK-Downloadcenter (https://invensense.tdk.com/developers/download/hello-chirp-example-for-smartsonic-1-0/?wpdmdl=37731) in version v1_11_0 and were able to flash is via Atmel Studio as described within the "AN-000154 SmartSonic HelloChirp Hands-on v1.2 Hands-on Exercise Note". Now at Step 5: RUNNING THE HELLO CHIRP APPLICATION, I receive nothing neither on the EDBG Port nor the FDTI/UART Port.

Does anyone else have this error or has anyone already found a solution for it?

I want to use the CH101 sensor to measure the height of the garbage in the trash can to detect whether the trash can is full. The length, width and height of the trash can are 42cm, 21cm, and 78cm respectively. The sensor will be placed 78cm directly above the trash can. After calculation , I need to make an Acoustic Housing with a horizontal angle of 30° and a vertical angle of 15°. How do I make this Acoustic Housing?
