Hi, Invensense Team.
Greetings from LTTS user.

We stated working on the ICS-41351 sensor, also we are referring ICS-41351-v1.3 datasheet.

We need some more information about the sensor functionality, Interface and validating the sensor.

Need More Info :
1. Need some reference code to reuse and refer our application purpose ?
2. How to validate the sensor ( Any mappings are available to validate the sensor with respect to input) ?
3. This sensor output is PDM format how to decode ( any codec available ) ?

Hi,
task is to develop a software test suit for ICS-41351, below are some queries regarding ICS-41351.

Queries:
with respective what frequency input, what should be the expected output?
how to decode the PDM data?
Any sample code available for validating the Acoustic sensor?

Hello,
We intended to use ICS-43434 in our design because of bottom MiC hole this limits us from using.
Please suggest any I2S based Digital Mic with TOp Hole.

Alternately we tried to with PDM based Digital mic ICS-41351 but our host has I2S interface.
Is there any codec to convert PDM data to I2S convertor?. Or any software codec available?

Please suggest
Thanks,
Raghu

Hello,

Iam using ICS-43434 mic on my project, iam not getting desired output. So wanted to check mic functionality whether it works or not.
How can i test the mic working.

Hello, first time here. Tech question on the ICS-40619 which has a differential pair output. We have arrays with those and would like to use them in single-ended mode, just using one output. Are there any issues when using only one output? What is the DC offset at each output? Are the two outputs equivalent as to linearity and "quality"? Much oblighed if anyone here has that info.

thanks, Jan Didden, Linear Audio

We have a TDK ICS40169 microphone with the following circuitry in operation (see pic, should be like the eval board EV_ICS-40619-FX)
VDD and Ground are supplied by a laboratory power supply.

If we connect the + and - outputs of the microphone to an oscilloscope, we only see a short ripple in VERY loud noises.

We would like to put the microphone signal directly into a MicPream (Behringer ADA8200), but only noise can be measured.

Does anyone know how repeatable is the ~15dB at ~20kHz frequency response peak of these (or similar) MEMS microphones? Obviously, I'm thinking of how practical it would be to use a notch filter to equalize the response to be flatter. Does the frequency of the peak vary for different samples of the same part number? Does the Q or amplitude of the peak?

Hi. Just received our purchased Chirp Micro DK-CH101 kit + MOD-CH101 modules. The received modules are missing the required FFC cables to mate the sensor modules to the kit (J6-J9). For future readers, the SMD FFC connectors appear to be 8 pin with 0.5mm pitch and contacts on both sides so Molex FFC cables with same side contacts should work. Will know once the parts arrive next week (purchased the missing cables through Mouser) although pretty sure TDK should have supplied these required cables to the distributor.
