Hello TDK community,

I am trying to drive an ICP-20100 Evaluation Board with the provided library (eMD-SmartMotion_ICP201xx_1.4.0) in I2C mode. I can confirm that the expected address (0x63) actually exists on the bus.
Referencing the provided library and sample code, it passes "inv_icp201xx_init()" function, but it gets stuck in "inv_icp201xx_soft_reset()" where we wait for DEVICE_STATUS register to become 1 to write a new mode.
Any advice on how to solve this problem is highly appreciated.

Hi I have a DK 10110 board which was operating well.
just today when I tried to connect the device to the motion link software it came up with the error "FW open error"

the messages on the command window are as below

PIPE 'MOTIONLINK00008428' CLOSE
FW open error : FW reset error
PIPE 'MOTIONLINK00008428' CLOSE
PIPE ' MOTIONLINK 00008428' stopped
FW close
onincomingconnection 'MOTIONLINK00008428'
error: FW open error

can someone help me with this

regards
Mahesh

Hi there,
I am new to the MotionLink platform. I have got a DK-10101 dev kit (SMG55), and followed the steps installed FDTI drivers, configure the com ports, installed AS studio. Yesterday, when I finally started to run the motionlink 4.1.21, it connected to the board and successfully aquired data. However, after that, there was a prompt window ask to Flash MCU firmware, so I did click the button, and after that the motionlink gui can not connect to the dev board, it is an FW open error.

Hi, I am considering using ICP-10110 pressure sensor in a project, where we will be applying a Parylene conformal coating. Obviously we will mask the air holes so they don't get coated. However, the Parylene coating is applied using chemical vapor deposition (CVD), which means the parts will be placed in a vacuum chamber during the coating process. Will this part be damaged by exposure to vacuum?

I'm guessing it is OK since the "operation range, maximum" is 25kPa, which is pretty close to vacuum...

Well, I'm currently using an icm-20948 with a house calibration to improve sensor performance (accelerometer) and it works very well. On the other hand, we notice that it is affected when one presses on the sensor. A simple mechanical pressure on the sensor affects the calibration of the accelerometer. The sensor serves to do the motion analysis and must be inserted between the feet and the shoe so it is affected by the pressure. We tried to use the epoxy to reduce the impact of mechanical pressure on the accelerometer. We have a decrease but it is not enough.
